Picnic Antics :: Conservatory
The largest public display of leaf cutter ants in Iowa, this exhibit will showcase an amazing colony of Atta columbica working to build their own fungal gardens. This colony will be nestled in a giant picnic basket surrounded by a larger-than-life checkered blanket, sandwich and topiary fruit.

6: 2010 Rose Festival
Reiman Gardens' annual Rose Festival was held Saturday, June 19, 2010. The event included a rose sale from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., live music in the Gardens throughout the day, the Iowa Rose Society Annual Rose Show and a special class on painting watercolor roses.
