Volunteer Opportunities
The Reiman Gardens Volunteer Education Program is based on providing volunteers with a dynamic learning environment. Training and continuing education classes are the cornerstone of our program. As a volunteer learns more, they in turn can teach more to the public.
A volunteer at Reiman Gardens can develop their knowledge about the plant and insect world, learn how a botanical garden operates, gain experience for a career change, make new friends, discover new interests and abilities, grow a sense of personal achievement, and develop the satisfaction of helping the Gardens be successful.
Reiman Gardens has 14 different program areas where volunteers may contribute their talents. Some volunteers will learn on the job while others will require intensive training. All volunteers have access to classes and programs to further their knowledge.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Gardens at 515 294-8225. Please bring the completed Volunteer Application with you.
