Lake Helen

Named in honor of the late Helen Booth from her family and husband George M. Booth, Lake Helen anchors the central gardens area. The lake features several planting shelves to display aquatic plants and is stocked with koi. Plans call for the construction of a small gazebo and installation of irrigation systems if funding could be secured. Laken Helen is home to many Victoria waterlilies, named after Queen Victoria of England. The waterlilies may eventually grow up to 20 feet in diameter. Lake Helen features over 12 species of hybrid Victorias and two Euryales.
