Spirits in the Gardens
Saturday & Sunday, October 20 & 21 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Come share in the scare! Visit Reiman Gardens in costume to make some of your own spooky fun on Saturday and Sunday, October 20 and 21st from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Craft and activity stations will showcase the animals and insects found haunting Reiman Gardens this Halloween season. Youth of all ages will also enjoy visiting the LEGO® brick sculptures as they trick or treat in the Gardens.
In the event of inclement weather, all activities will be moved indoors. Spirits in the Gardens is a free event for all youth under 18. Regular admission is $8.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors, and free to all CoHorts members and Iowa State University students with ISU card.
Special thanks to First National Bank for sponsoring 2012 Spirits in the Gardens.
In addition to Spirits in the Gardens, the fall landscape has much to offer with striking ornamental grasses, vibrant mums and colorful leaf displays on hardy trees. Inside the Conservatory, find a display entitled The Wonderful Wacky Work of Rube Goldberg which will be on display until November 6. This will also be one of the final weekends to enjoy the Gardens’ popular Nature Connects: LEGO® brick sculpture show. See the sculptures before their last day on Sunday, October 28. Guests can also visit the Gift Shop for some spooky Halloween themed merchandise.
