-OR-
Saturday, August 18 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

So you want to join the excitement and fun of trough gardening but don't have a trough? Never fear, Gary is here! Master Gardener, Gary Whittenbaugh, will take you through the step-by-step, hands on procedure of trough construction. Discover the secrets to success including: the correct ingredients to use, how much to use, reinforcement procedures, type of molds, drainage concerns, drying time, and much more. Register early, as class size will be limited to 12 participants each. You may leave your trough at the Gardens to dry for a few days or you may bring it home that day on your own sheet of 2’x2’, 3/4" plywood. You must bring in your own plywood.

Cost is $36 for CoHorts members. $45 for the general public. Iowa State University students pay 15% off the member price. Click here to register online.
