2012 Generation Organic Tour
Do you eat food? Do you know where the food came from, who grew it and how it was produced? “Generation Organic,” is a group of young and dynamic organic farmers who believe in the power of organic to change the world. The Gen-Os urge everyone to own your food choices - to drive a more sustainable and delicious future for ourselves and the planet.
The Gen-O farmers are boarding their veggie oil-sipping school bus and winding their way through the Heartland with visits in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. These passionate young people will make stops along the way at colleges, universities, farmers markets, retail locations and community events to sow the good news about organic food and farming.
Stop by the Gen-O Tour bus to meet a Gen-O, ask questions, and conspire with farmers, activists and other leaders in the movement on how to create a sustainable future for all. Play the ‘Wheel of Farming’ and get some cool swag, too!
